Sign
language for babies and toddlers is a wonderful way to encourage
early communication skills of your baby, which will alleviate frustration,
for both you and him or her. Sign language uses both sides of the
brain, to help re-inforce vocabulary so baby learns it sooner! Studies
show that kids who sign actually speak sooner than their non-signing
counterparts, and that by age three, their IQ's are an average of
2-6 points higher.
At
Jollyjumpers,
music and movement program for newborn to age 18 months, you will
participate in two sign language activities every class, allowing
you to build a sign vocabulary and practice in a practical setting.
Summer
2006 we had a baby
sign language
mini camp. Similar format to our Jollyjumpers class, but with
lots of sign activities, songs and stories, as well as parent info.
