Stroller Fitness

Come to any one of our mom and baby fitness classes, to help you strengthen your body and get back into shape after baby's born.
(4 weeks post-partum+ with your doctor's aproval.) Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, and North Shore locations available.
Bounce Back Coquitlam
A 55 minute, indoor core and body strengthening class, specially designed to help you look and feel your best after having your baby.

  • This class is taught by a registered BCRPA Fitness Leader who is also a practicing doula.
  • Information about postpartum exercise, as well as exercise after ceasarean and and much more will be provided.
Features:
  • A workout your baby can enjoy with you!
  • Working on losing the "Mommy Tummy", with special attention to closing stomach muscle separation. (diastasis)
  • Improving posture- strengthening all the right muscles to avoid a hunched over appearance from carrying your baby and nursing
  • Kegel exercises will be included to help restore bladder control.
  • Resistance bands, ball activities and more, all set to child-friendly music, will help you to bounce back to your pre-pregnancy energy levels while having fun with baby.

Special Offer: When 5 of your friends sign up for Bounce Back Coquitlam before Feb 1/08, you will receive a gift certificate for a free session of stroller fitness (starts April). Friends must be new to Jump Start, and include your name in the referral section of their registration for you to qualify.
Have less than five friends who register, or they register after Feb 1? At the end of the session, you will receive a gift credit for $8 per referral, towards your next session of fitness or music!
 

Stroll & Strengthen Coquitlam
is an exciting 55 minute out-door workout where baby or toddler is in the stroller. Two children can come in a double stroller, too!

This class is taught by a registered BCRPA Fitness Leader who is also a practicing doula.

Class takes place on the green belt behind the Coquitlam studio. Meet at the fron entrance to the building.

**It is advisable to bring a water-resistant mat to the outdoor class. You may bring your own or order one through Jump Start when you register.

Stroll & Strengthen Includes:

  • Power walking
  • Strength training
  • Interval training
  • Postpartum exercise information.
  • This is a flexible class where you can feel free to attend to your little one's needs, should they arise!
