Notes
is a fun approach to musical literacy.
At
First
Notes,
your child will experience a variety of musical styles, tempos beats
and tones, while she learns about music "hands on", through
musical games, and age appropriate activities, such as:
drumming
and other percussion instrument play
vocal
exploration, singing and tonal patterning
ensemble
play, choral singing
ear
training
basic
graphic notation
creative
movement / learning about music through movement
First
Notes
is a 32 week program, starting in September, and ending in June.
Classes are 1 hour each week. Parents or care givers join in for
sharing time, during the last 15 minutes of each class.
Please
note that children must turn 5 by September 30 to attend
this program.
